Am I the only one embarrassed? They got this from the infamous failedmessiah who lifted it from Hirshel Tzig’s blog and got the name of the paper slightly wrong.
In the words of one of the blogsters, if someone has a יצר הרע for Hilary Clinton, they have bigger issues than Di Tzeitung.

It’s seriously about time that the censorship of these ultra orthodox newspapers is stopped as it is absolutely disgraceful. I think it’s good that this has been revealed in the mainstream press – at least this may be the trigger to these ultra orthodox newspapers, including the local edition of the Hamodia in Melbourne to stop this awful behaviour. To simply remove females from the paper is simply ridiculous. Where do these people think they are? For goodness sake we live in the 21st century and to try and justify their behaviour through Halacha – and “Tzneyut” is simply farcical and absurd.
I have never even touched a local edition of the Hamodia since a couple years ago when the paper refused to even show the picture of a woman who was murdered in a terrorist attack in Israel, whilst the picture of a man who was tragically murdered was published in the newspaper.
The segregation between men and woman that Chabad promotes is bad enough but the Hamodia newapaper and the newspaper quoted in this article takes this to an entirely new level.

Given the rather extreme הנהגות practices that the Chasidim in Ger practice in male/female relations, one might understand that some might be excited at the sight of Hilary Clinton. It doesn’t apply to the rest of us, in my opinion. At the end of the day, it’s a Ger inspired publication, so if people don’t like it, just don’t buy it. I agree though that it has put us up for ridicule. I suspect their new approach will be to only publish pictures of men and if there is a lady in the picture, they just won’t publish the picture.
