To prove that they’re Jews after all. They were too cheap to buy two pairs.
We can see here members of two cults. One with a high hat the other with a shallow one. One shows his socks the other one not.
The shawl worn by one of them has no Tzitzit on it!
They wear their coats buttoned the female way – as they do not wear the clothes the Goyish way. A Palestinian Kafiah is different, it is a part of a formal Jewish attire. I do not remember the Chazon Ish wearing one, but then – he was a MITHNAGED.
They probably join the prayers in the Mosque, and praying towards Mecca.
